need help with this situation question

While on holiday, you think of a brilliant idea for innovating one of the Company's products. You have a team meeting scheduled for the week after you return, but the meeting's focus is new product development, not changing existing products. What would you do in this situation? Write to your supervisor immediately requesting that they place you on the agenda to introduce your idea. Spend the week between your return to work and the team meeting setting goals and plans to implement your idea. Taik over the idea with others inside and outside of your department to gain their perspectives about your idea. Perform some informal research to evaluate if your idea would help the customer. Because the focus of the meeting is not changing existing products, wait until the time is right.
